Kim Soo-Hyun’s Request For Contact Backfires: Garo Sero Claims Kim Sae-ron’s Family Is Even More Outraged
On March 15, Gold Medalist released an official statement:
“We believe that no words can truly comfort Kim Sae-ron’s mother, who is experiencing indescribable pain after losing her daughter. We deeply mourn the suffering the late actress had to endure and express our sincere condolences.”
A representative from the agency added:
“We also deeply empathize with the concerns Kim Sae-ron’s mother has raised regarding the way the media has covered this issue. However, there are aspects of her claims that differ from our perspective. We also believe there may be details she is not yet aware of.”
Garo Sero’s Accusations and the Family’s Claims
Recently, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (Garo Sero) alleged that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor, raising suspicions of a grooming crime. They further claimed, citing Kim Sae-ron’s family, that Gold Medalist had sent her a legal notice demanding 700 million won (approximately $525,000) in damages and pressured her, while Kim Soo-hyun did nothing to intervene.
In response, Gold Medalist denied these allegations, stating that Kim Soo-hyun had only dated Kim Sae-ron between summer 2019 (when she was an adult) and fall 2020. Regarding the legal notice, they explained:
“It was simply part of the legal procedures related to covering the penalty fees for Kim Sae-ron’s drunk driving incident, and we never pressured her to repay the amount.”
Kim Soo-hyun’s Side Seeks Resolution, but Family Responds with More Allegations
Despite Gold Medalist’s rebuttal, Kim Sae-ron’s family has continued to challenge their claims through Garo Sero, leading to the exposure of private details about Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron’s relationship to the public.
Kim Soo-hyun’s agency expressed concern:
“We do not believe that publicly debating these matters is appropriate for restoring the late Kim Sae-ron’s honor. This approach is neither helpful to her mother nor respectful to the deceased.”
As a result, Gold Medalist proposed a private meeting, stating:
“Our management team would like to meet with Kim Sae-ron’s mother in person to provide a full explanation. We would be grateful if she could contact our office at any time.”
However, despite this statement, Garo Sero responded aggressively, claiming:
“Kim Soo-hyun’s additional statement has only made the bereaved family even more furious. They have sent us a new statement today, which we will reveal in our next broadcast.”
Then, during their March 15 broadcast, Garo Sero claimed that Kim Soo-Hyun’s side has been continuously trying to call Kim Sae-ron’s father behind their back. They call it a “bullying action” towards someone who is already in pain and will not stay put if Kim Soo-hyun continues.
